Welcome

 

I have spent most of my life as a paediatric cardiothoracic surgeon.  It is a huge privilege and responsibility  to care for children and their families.

It has also been a privilege to work in field in which innovation and disruptive change are constant, and in which we are able to put research into practice very quickly.

​

I now spend much of my time speaking and writing about lessons we have learned from other walks of life, and a few things we can share with them.
